I just wanted to say thank you for helping make my wedding perfect. I am so fortunate that I found One Step Ahead. You guys did such a great job keeping people on the dance floor and entertaining all age groups.  The music was just amazing and I got so many compliments. Not only was the music great but you were all so nice and professional.....You didn't forget one request of my many, and I was really impressed by that!!!

Just wanted to drop you a quick note to say thank you again for helping to make our wedding celebration a success.  When we started planning the event, we had a vision of the kind of day we wanted to have, and it was somewhat different from a traditional wedding reception.  But you guys helped make that vision a reality.  It was clear that everyone, young and old, had a great time...up and dancing, in spite of the heat.  So many people came up to us during the day to say how talented and fun they thought you were. During one song, one of the kids even asked whether you were the "real band" that sang that song!

And again, I appreciate your willingness to match the color scheme by sporting those bright-colored shirts! :-)  You all did look great...I'll let you know if there are any good pictures, in case you want to

My niece—who lives in Minnesota—requested to have you play at her Birthday (unfortunately her parents denied her request—maybe some other time :). We have, however, many friends who will be getting married in the next two years and have been passing along your name. You made great music choices—everyone was dancing! We loved it!!!!   It truly was a pleasure to finally meet you.  I hope you enjoyed playing at Caryn and Matthew's wedding.

  By all accounts, the wedding was splendid.  I know that our guests had a fantastic time.  There is no doubt that good food and good music go hand-in-hand at a wedding, so you and the band members put the finishing touches on the event.

I cannot stress enough how pleased we were to have you playing at our wedding.  Everyone tells you that you won't have fun at your own wedding because you're too busy, but not us.  Amanda and I spent the entire night on the dance floor with the rest of the guests, and we had the best night.  We're already thinking of re-affirming our vows at another ceremony just so we can have you come play again!  There wasn't a slow point in the entire night.  Everyone was dancing and the whole time and mentioning how great the band sounded.  Two weeks later I'm getting calls from my friends telling me how great they thought the night was and how great you guys were.  The band sounded tight, the vocals were fantastic.  Hopefully we will get to hear you again at one of our friends weddings.  Please feel free to use us as referrals if need be.

Hi Dave,

Looks like it's already been a few months since my wedding.... an old married lady here. That wedding really did me in - it took about a month to recover from all the dancing and excitement. I have to admit, that was the best party I've ever attended! My family, TJ, and I all had such a blast and much of that was due to not only the superb musicianship of your band, but also your energy and professionalism throughout the planning and on the night of. Our musician friends (as well as many other guests) commented about how good you sounded. On top of sounding so good and choosing songs that everybody seemed to love, it was so nice to have our friend sing Sinatra with you all. I loved it!

The little girl from Trinidad is my niece- her father is a musician and her mother used to run a music production company and still promotes bands- she could not stop talking about the music...and they were not the only ones to tell me, "The band was incredible."

I was a bit stressed out and scattered by the time of the event, so thank you so much for helping to keep everything moving in a fun direction-and keeping the dance floor packed! a wedding is a pretty exhausting event!
